As part of the 1.3.0 release of Zingiri Web Shop, we will be providing full integration of the Web Shop with the Wordpress user management system. This brings two important new things.

Firstly, you will be able to manage the shop from the Wordpress back-end. This means that all the settings, order management, … will be available from the Wordpress Settings menu. Some users have found it confusing that in the current version of the Web Shop this is not fully transparent how to work the settings.

Secondly, every customer will become a Wordpress subscriber and vice versa. This means that you the customer will only need to login once your site to do his purchases, check his account, comment on your posts, … And also, it means that you will now be able to use for example other plugins for mass emailing, sending out a newsletter, … without having to copy the user data from Web Shop to Wordpress.

The target release date of version 1.3.0 is around Easter weekend. It will bring some other features and fixes, but we’ll keep you posted on that.
