We’re happy to announce the release of version 2.3.0 of Zingiri Web Shop. In this version we’ve overhauled the Shipping module and added new shipping options. The available shipping options are now:

• Flat rate: simply charge a flat rate to your customers
• Weight based rate: this is the original method, where shipping charges vary in function of the total weight of the order
• Price based rate: make the price of your shipping fees vary in function of the total price of the order, according to predefined tiers
• Quantity based rate: make the price of your shipping charges vary in function to the total quantity of the order, according to predefined tiers
• USPS: let USPS calculate your shipping fees (available as a Pro extension)
• UPS: integration of the UPS shipping charges calculator (available as a Pro extension)

On the Zingiri Web Shop Pro front we’ve also launched a number of new extensions:

• Offline credit cards: register credit card details of your customers during checkout and process them safely offline
• Manual orders: process manual orders for your customers, useful if besides your online presence you also have a high-street shop or if you process orders over the phone
• Multi-currency support: allows you to define multiple currencies to be used in your shop. Based on the customer’s location, the currency is detected and prices are presented in the customer’s preferred currency.

And as usual we’ve added some small usability improvements and fixed a few bugs:

• Added zip code of current location in settings
• Added group ID to back-end group list
• Added category ID to back-end category list
• Fix redirect issue in forms framework
• Update default send country to ISO code instead of full country name
• Fixed issue with names not showing in drop down
• Fixed error message: Missing argument 1 for wsFeatures::prepare()
